The Simple Tap Filter That Can Reduce Your Water Flow

Many modern taps have a small filter or aerator at the end of the spout. In hard water areas, these can become blocked with scale and debris.

Unscrewing and cleaning the aerator can make a big difference. Soaking it in a descaling solution may restore the flow, but badly blocked or damaged parts may need replacing.
