What to Do If You Find a Leak

First, turn off the water at the nearest isolation valve or the main stop tap. Then protect electrics, move furniture if safe to do so, and place a bucket or towel under the leak.

Take photos of the issue, especially if you may need to contact your insurer. Then arrange for the leak to be repaired as soon as possible.
